CROW RIVER TOWNSHIP -- Deputies are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in an early morning crash north of Belgrade that left a Sauk Centre man hurt.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Eric Pohlman was driving northbound shortly after 2:00 a.m. this morning on County Road 13 when his car ran off the road, hit a driveway, and rolled several times.

Reports say Pohlman walked away from the crash to a nearby home for help. Residents of the home say Pohlman was bleeding from his head and face.

Pohlman was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital by ambulance and later airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital.

Deputies met with Pohlman there as part of the investigation of the cause of the crash and if alcohol was involved.
