Joann M. Grey, 74, of Randall, MN died on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Pierz Villa in Pierz, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial for Joann will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00AM at the St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN with Father Tim Wenzel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at 1:00PM at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Joann was born on July 9, 1940 in Little Falls, MN to the late Frank and Irene (Otremba) Przybilla. She grew up in Hillman and went to country school for 3 years before attending St. Joseph Catholic grade school in Pierz and then on to Father Pierz Memorial. Joann was united into marriage to Leo Marshik on October 13, 1958 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Hillman. The couple made their home on a farm near Buckman, MN where they raised six children. They later divorced. Joann married Severen Olson on October 24, 1980. They resided in the Randall area. Joann and Sev had many years of enjoyment before his death. Joann married Paul Grey on April 15, 2007. They had eighteen months together before his death.

Joann was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Joann loved having all of her children and grandchildren around so she could cook for them. She made sure no one went away hungry. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN and a former member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing, MN. She was also a member of the American Legion in Little Falls and Randall. Joann enjoyed playing bingo, embroidery, making Christmas ornaments, and baking bread. She also liked to cook, shop, play cards, and watch all of the beautiful birds.

Joann is survived by her children, Jim Marshik & special friend Michele of Minot, ND, Darlene (John) Preimesberger of Pierz, MN, Linda Marshik of Oak Grove, MN & special friend Randy, Bob (Amy) Marshik of Pierz, MN, Dennis Marshik of Foley, MN, and Lisa (Jason) Walcheski of Foley, MN; siblings, Jeanette Firkus, Dale Przybilla, Fritz Przybilla, Charlene Kapus, Carol Nash, Debbie Seppelt, and Tim Przybilla; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lois Przybilla; and several step-children and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Sev Olson and Paul Grey; an infant daughter, Mary; brother, Ken Przybilla; two great-grandchildren, Braden and Kaydins; sister-in-law, Mary Pryzbilla; and her pet dog, Teddy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, MN.
