JL Beers Holding Grand Opening in St. Cloud [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD - The wait is over, with JL Beers ready to have its grand opening in downtown St. Cloud on Wednesday.

JL Beers is at 801 West St. Germain Street. It will be open seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. until midnight. Area manager Nate Wolf says the restaurant keeps it simple with a cant beat combination of burgers and beer.

"American craft beer is the focus with the occasional imports scattered around. The food menu is burgers, fresh cut fries and fresh cut chips."

This will be the 13^th JL Beers. About 30-40 people will be working at the downtown location, which is in the historic former Landmark Tavern building.

"This building has been a bar, restaurant or pub its entire existence, which is now almost 140 years. It was quite the project redoing this building, we pretty much started over from scratch," Wolf says.

JL Beers’ corporate headquarters is based out of Fargo. Wolf says they couldn’t be more excited to open in downtown St. Cloud.

"The city of St. Cloud and downtown St. Cloud has been great to work with. We're happy to be in this neighborhood and this community."
