Invincible Costume & Theatrical Discusses Costume Trends [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD - For over 30 years, Invincible Costume & Theatrical has been renting and selling costumes all around Minnesota.

Shop owner Michael Anderson has no shortage of incredible costumes in the store, thousands of them hand made.

While the store does most of its work for plays and theatre, Anderson talked about some recent Halloween costume trends. The most popular costume this year is a Beetlejuice suit...but for a different purpose. People are renting the black and white striped suit in order to replicate the Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke VMA fiasco from this year.

Anderson added that the most consistently popular costumes are a little more old fashioned.

"The most consistent one has been the same, this is my 20th Halloween, flappers for girls, and gangsters for guys," Anderson says.

With most of the costumes being hand made in the store, Anderson says each one is a work of art.

"We don't sew costumes here, we build costumes."

Most of the costumes in the store are available for rental, the average price is around $30. More information on the store can be found on their website.
