ST. JOSEPH - The fog may be partially to blame for a crash involving a pickup and a bus. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 6:45 a.m. this (Wednesday) morning on County Road 3, about one mile northwest of St. Joseph.

The motor coach bus was stopped, getting ready to make a left turn, when the pickup rear-ended it at about 60 miles an hour. T

The driver of the pickup was 25-year-old Eli Sobania of Holdingford. He had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with multiple bone fractures.

The driver of the bus was 61-year-old Joseph Wiser of Sauk Rapids. He was not hurt, and there were no passengers on his bus.

County Road 3 was closed for an extended period of time this morning while deputies cleared the scene.
