ST. WENDEL TOWNSHIP - Five people were involved in a two vehicle crash in Stearns County. The Sheriff's Office says it happened just before 3:00 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) at the intersection of County Roads 4 and 2 in St. Wendel Township, just west of Sartell.

A jeep driven by 82-year-old Harold Pfannenstein of St. Joseph was heading north on County Road 2, it stopped at the stop sign, and then went through the intersection. Pfannenstein struck a car driven by 34-year-old Eric Marquedant of Holdingford. The car went into the ditch, and struck a light pole.

Three passengers in his vehicle were hurt: 34-year-old Jessica Marquedant, 14-year-old Zachary Marquedant, and 10-year-old Elijah Marquedant.

Zachary Marquedant was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.
