High Temps Create Risks for Firefighters [AUDIO]

UNDATED – We’re gearing up for a sizzling fourth of July week in central Minnesota. It’s also likely to be a busy week for emergency personnel.
St. Cloud Fire Chief Bill Mund says it’s crucial for firefighters to drink plenty of water and remain cool whenever possible – especially while in full uniform.

Mund says they keep plenty of water on hand at all times for the squad.
He reminds you to keep this in mind – on hot days, you can’t do all the things outside you would normally do, so take it easy.
