Heat, Humidity Return on Wednesday

UNDATED - Summertime heat returns to the region Wednesday with high temperatures warming through the 80s and 90s across the region. Humidity will also be on the increase with heat index values topping 100 degrees over much of southern Minnesota Wednesday afternoon.

A weak cool front will move into the state Wednesday afternoon and exit east and south of the area by Thursday evening. Some minor cooling will take place with the front, and only a small chance of showers and thunderstorms will occur Thursday night across southern areas.
