ST. CLOUD - Students and community members gathered at the St. Cloud Hospital for the 12th annual Surgery Open House yesterday (Thursday).

Guests got to explore the Hospital's newest surgical facility which opened it's doors this year.

Doctors and nurses were on-hand to answer questions about the new unit as well as demonstrate the latest technology.

People got to see artificial simulations of how the hospital supports life during a bypass surgery.

Registered Nurse, Sarah Mavencamp says there are stations around the room that show how the surgical tools are used during surgery.

Guests got to see simulations of the da Vinci robot, a device used to help keep the surgery on track.

The next Surgical Open House will be sometime next year.
