Tractor Day is a huge deal in Foley. Each year students from Foley High school drive their tractors to school on the last day of the year for their senior students.

Community members also participated in the huge celebration by gathering at Foley High School to watch the tractor parade.

Minnesota's New Country's Ashli and Katie decided to be part of the parade this year. We were up early this morning to join the seniors at Gilman Park for the parade line up. Students started arriving around 6:15 a.m. and by 6:40 a.m. the tractors were in route.

The parade route stretched from Gilman Park to Foley High School. It took about 20-25 minutes driving down a few dirt roads before we finally arrived. The seniors decorated two hay wagons with confetti paper, balloons and 98.1 Minnesota's New Country banners.

Once we arrived, Katie and Ashli were on the lookout for their favorite tractors. The winners received a pair of Lakes Jam tickets and a signed Minnesota's New Country T-shirt.

By 8 a.m. the senior students had filed into the building to start their last day of school! Congratulations to the Foley senior class!
