Evelyn “Evie” Gross, 88, Clear Lake, formerly of Cold Spring

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Church of St. Augustine in St. Cloud, MN for Evelyn “Evie” Gross, age 88, who died Friday at Assumption Home in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.

Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to services in the church. Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.

Evie was born in Cold Spring, MN to Paul and Clara Theisen. She married Peter Gross and was blessed with three sons. Evie was a loving mother who worked as a homemaker and later in life as a telephone operator. She enjoyed trips to the casino, sewing, baking, and life at the lake.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Carol), Alan (Laurie), grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Thomas, and David.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; son, John; siblings, Lorraine Chaika, Raymond, Arnold, Lee, and Harold.
