Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville for Elaine M. “Punkin” (Driver) Weber, age 80, of Paynesville, formerly of Roscoe, who passed away January 31, 2015 at the Paynesville Area Hospital. Burial will take place in the St. Agnes Parish Cemetery in Roscoe, Minnesota.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4 and one hour prior to services both at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville.

Elaine was born October 10, 1934 in Eden Lake Township, Stearns County, MN to William “Roy” and Anna (Lehnen) Driver. She married Edward J. “Eddie” Weber on August 16, 1958 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Roscoe.

Early in Elaine’s life she worked at New Hope Bakery and the telephone company of Paynesville. Later in her life as her sons were growing up, she worked at Al’s Tavern in Roscoe, Golden Plump in Cold Spring, and Fingerhut in St. Cloud.

The highlight of her life was adopting her two sons, Mike and Randy.

Elaine is survived by her sons Randy (Liz Johnson) of Minneapolis and Michael (Beth) of St. Cloud, grandchildren Bella, Halle, Blake and Kieran, sister Clara (Norbert) Schueller and Marcy Lang both of Richmond.

Preceding Elaine in death were her parents, husband Eddie (1970), brother Melvin Driver (1956) and sisters Lucille Mackedanz (1997) and Marie Loch (2007).
