Driver Hurt After Crashing Into St. Cloud Home

ST. CLOUD -- A teenaged driver suffered minor injuries after hitting another vehicle and driving off the road.

The incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and 13th Street North in St. Cloud.

18-year-old Samantha Richards, of Bemidji, went through a red light hitting another vehicle traveling west through the intersection. She then veered to the left, went off the road and struck a home.

She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for minor injuries.

Richards was cited for a semaphore violation.
