Crop Sprayer Crashes After Road Gives Way

TODD COUNTY -- The Todd County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a crop sprayer crash around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. 

Deputies say the driver, Mitchel Schumann from Long Prairie was headed North on 285th Avenue near Pacer Road while driving a 2013 Ro-Gator Crop Sprayer owned by Pro Ag in Clarissa.

Due to the recent rain and the weight of the crop sprayer, the shoulder of the road's surface gave way.

Schumann lost control of the sprayer and drove off of the road. Authorities say he was not hurt in the crash.

The crop sprayer sustained significant damages. Deptuies say none of the spay was spilled in the accident.
