ST. CLOUD (AP) - A judge has ordered a hold on criminal charges against a 66-year-old St. Cloud man accused of putting his finger in the mouth of a 3-year-old girl at a library and asking if she wanted to go home with him.

Lawrence Danzl is charged with a felony count of stalking a victim under age 18 with sexual or aggressive intent, as well as a gross misdemeanor count of indecent exposure or lewdness.

An examination was ordered in November to determine whether Danzl is competent for trial and whether he was competent at the time of the incident.

The examination determined Danzl is incompetent, and criminal charges have been placed on hold until he's deemed competent.

It wasn't immediately known if he has an attorney.
