MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Relief from the hot, sticky weather isn't expected anytime soon.

Forecasters say the heat index could climb as high as 115 Monday and stick around through most of the week in Minnesota.

The dew point in the "Lutefisk Capital" of Madison was 86 Sunday night - a mark not seen for a dozen years.  Here in St. Cloud we had dew points of at least 82 on Sunday night.

The only other spot in the Western Hemisphere with a dew point in the 80s on Sunday was the Amazon Jungle in South America.

The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning for central and southern Minnesota through 9 p.m. Wednesday.
