Levi Pelzer got a call from a producer in Nashville back in November. Two months later he finished recording his first album at OmniSound Studios in downtown Nashville. His album release is scheduled for later this year.

A comedian hits the stage this weekend, plus an all new comedy is on for one night only. Also catch St. Cloud School District students in the Night of Stars Variety Show, plus much more in The Weekender.

Great Northern Theatre Company presents it's winter play, Rumors. Director Tamara McClintock says this is a straight comedy that will keep you laughing through the whole show. It's a dinner theater format at The Great Blue Heron in Cold Spring.

A needs assessment survey is being done by the Central Minnesota Arts Board in order to help develop programs and services in the coming years. There will be two public forums being held this week in regards to the survey. CMAB Executive Director Leslie LeCuyer says anyone can take the survey, or attend the forums.

The weekend is full of plays, performances, and visual arts. You have another chance to catch Harper's Chord who just released their first full-length CD. Catch the faculty of the CSB/SJU music departments in their performance. Also St. Cloud Tech High School, and Pioneer Place Theatre Company have some plays for your enjoyment.

New Zealand's Indian Ink Theatre Company is is town with their new play, Kiss The Fish. GREAT Theatre is also back in action with The Addams Family Musical, plus there are a few artists' exhibits for you to check out in The Weekender.

Indian Ink Theatre Company is making it's United States debut with their award winning play, Kiss The Fish. A performance at the College of Saint Benedict is part of the tour. Kiss The Fish is based on a true story from a village in Malaysia that focuses on environmental resources, and cultural values.

The Addams Family Musical hits the Paramount Theater stage this weekend. Join all of your favorite characters as Wednesday's new love interest, and his family come to dinner at the Addams Family house. This musical is full of laughter, and great music that teenagers and adults alike will be able to enjoy.

The World Drumming Group class at St. Cloud State University is leading drum circles to help students relax. Dr. Terry Vermillion is leading the class, and says this is a first step to getting a music therapy program at SCSU. The students are currently learning to improvise together.

Enjoy a fun show filled with tap dancing, and a full big brass band this weekend, Rhythmic Circus is back in town. There are also a few concerts in the area, one of which is a tribute to a great Rock N' Roll band. Finally, Gallery Saint Germain has a new exhibit for you to check out.
