Two Hurt in Crash Near St. Rosa After Driver Falls Asleep at Wheel

Two people were hurt in a one vehicle crash near St. Rosa on Tuesday night. The incident happened just before 11:30 p.m. on County Road 17 east of Sunset Beach Road in Millwood Township, two miles northwest of St. Rosa. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 71-year-old Russell Sieben of Melrose was traveling westbound of County Road 17.

A St. Cloud man has been sentenced to 40-years in prison for assault and kidnapping against his ex-girlfriend. The Stearns County Attorney's Office says 42-year-old Dale Lott was found guilty on felony kidnapping and assault and a 5th degree assault charge.
