Father Alfred Stangl Passes Away in St. Cloud at 77

After 52-years in the ministry, well known Father Alfred Stangl passed away in his St. Cloud apartment on Monday. Stangl was 77-years-old. Reception of his body will be at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21st, at the Cathedral of Saint Mary in St. Cloud. Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m.

Two women who were sexually abused as minors by a priest, have filed lawsuits against the St. Cloud Diocese. The two cases were filed this (Tuesday) morning under the Child Victims Act.

137 Citations Given by St. Cloud Police During Start of Fall Semester

St. Cloud Police cited 137 people for various offenses in the Southside Neighborhood as a result of the beginning of college fall semester. According to St. Cloud State University officials, of the 137 people cited, 54 or 39 percent are current St. Cloud State University students.

A St. Cloud man won a WaveRunner during his appearance on the Price is Right on Tuesday morning. Duane Bible was called up on stage alongside Drew Carey and took his turn at spinning the wheel. When he was introduced, Bible proudly gave St. Cloud and his family a shout-out.

One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a car rear-ended a dump truck in Stearns County. The State Patrol says the incident happened at 5:40 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Highway 23 and County Road 12.

Melrose Woman Hopes To Become This Years ‘Princess Kay Of The Milky Way’

A Melrose woman will represent Stearns County for a chance to crowned Minnesota's 62nd Princess Kay of the Milky Way. 18-year-old Morgan Uphoff is one of 12 finalists at this year's pageant. She says her passion for the dairy industry was the biggest factor in choosing to run this year.
