Several new businesses have opened in downtown St. Cloud in the first half of the year. St. Cloud Downtown Council President Pegg Gustafson says they've added 10 new members so far this year, including: Konrad's, Quarks American Bento, Heavenly Treats, and the Rusty Pick.

Protest Planned for Saturday Outside VFW Post 428 in St. Cloud

Two groups with opposing views are clashing in St. Cloud this week, and the VFW Post 428 has been caught in the middle. The conflict started on Tuesday when speaker Ron Branstner was scheduled to speak at the VFW. He's been a controversial figure because of his views on immigration.

St. Joseph Continues Discussion Towards Possible Dog Park

The St. Joseph park board is continuing to work towards creating a dog park in town. The plan was first presented to the city council earlier this month. John Anderson is chair of the park board and says a possible location for the park is a site between Fir Street and Highway 75, directly east of the Lake Wobegon Trail.
