Waite Park Council Approves To Move Forward With Land Use Study Agreement

St. Cloud State University will now be responsible for figuring out the best way to grow the undeveloped areas of Waite Park. Last week the council sat down with SCSU economic professors King Banian and Rich MacDonald to hear their proposal on how to evaluate the areas in need.

St. Joseph Moves to Buy Colts Academy Building For Community Center

St. Joseph is moving to buy the Colts Academy building from the St. Cloud Area School District for a possible community center. The building used to be the Kennedy Community School and is at 124 1st Avenue Southeast. District 742 will review selling the building to the city for $2.3 million on Wednesday night.

Sauk Rapids Man Arrested For Alleged Burglary in St. Cloud

Police we called to the scene of a burglary in St. Cloud late Saturday night. The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of County Road 120. Police say they received a call saying someone appeared to be breaking into the detached garage unit to the apartment complex.

Sartell Boy Suffers Minor Injuries After Running Into A Moving Car

A 6-year-old boy from Sartell will be fine after being hit by a car Saturday night. The incident happened just after 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of 32nd Avenue North and 9th Street North in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud Man Taken to Hospital After Rollover

A St. Cloud man was taken to the hospital after a rollover on Saturday. Police say the incident happened just after 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of Cooper Avenue North and 3rd Street North. An SUV being driven by 22-year-old Keith Walker of St. Cloud was driving southbound in the 300 block of Cooper Avenue North when he lost control of the vehicle.

UPDATE: Motorcycle Passenger Killed, Driver Seriously Hurt in Crash

An update to a crash we told you about earlier, the State Patrol now says one of two motorcycle riders has now died from their injuries suffered in a crash. The incident happened at about 1:45 p.m. Saturday on Highway 71 in Stearns County.

North Students Asking City Council for Safety Upgrades at Busy Intersection [VIDEO]

Some students at St. Cloud's North Junior High want safety improvements made at a busy intersection near their school. The "Community Problem Solving" team is asking the city council tonight (Monday) to approve a little over $16,000 for several upgrades at the intersection of 12th Street North and 29th Avenue North.

Hundreds Walk For A Cure At St. Cloud MS Walk [VIDEO]

Some walked for support, others for family, but no matter the reason they all walked towards one goal at the St. Cloud MS Walk this (Sunday) morning. Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system. Walk MS is a fundraiser that connects people living with Multiple Sclerosis and helps raise money to find a cure.
