This week's All-Star Student is leading a city wide park clean-up project in Sartell. Maddie O'Rourke had many ideas for her confirmation service project, but landed on helping the environment in her community. She, along with her mentor Cindy Fitzthum, and other volunteers will be cleaning up Sartell Parks on April 18th.

The Future Problem Solving International Competition is right around the corner, and a St. Cloud Apollo senior will be heading to Ames Iowa to take part. The t-shirt all the FPS Minnesota students will be wearing just happens to be a design by this student. WJON's All-Star Student of the Week is taking a look at the St. Cloud Tech Nordic Ski team. This week we are featuring Senior Isaac Wieber who took second place at this year's section race, but this was not the first time he stood on the section podium. He's grateful for all the success he, and his team has had over the last three years.

WJON's All-Star Student is kick starting her career of owning her own restaurant by participating in the culinary program at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. Madison Waseca is the captain of the management team, and was a member of last years' second place state culinary team. She says her experience here is helping set her up for the future.
