Bernard Wesbur, 76, Cold Spring

July 9, 1939 – May 16, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Bernard “Ben” Wesbur, age 76, who died Monday at the Paynesville Hospital. Burial will be in the St. Boniface parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2016 in the St. Boniface Catholic Church Narthex. Arrangements are with Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring, MN.

Ben was born in Belgrade, MN to Frank and Anna Wesbur. He married Barbara Tieman in 1962 and they had 3 children. He later married Tanya Voronina in 2001 at the couple’s home on the farm. Ben served in the United States National Guard for 6 years. He farmed all of his life and was a talented gem cutter and welder. Ben was an extremely creative person who was always willing to help out his neighbors.

Survivors include his wife, Tanya Wesbur; children, Michael (Mary) Wesbur, David (Brenda) Wesbur, William (Rachael) Wesbur, Nadia Wesbur; siblings, Monica Heinen, Walter Wesbur, Wilfred Wesbur and Mary Kraemer; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Leona Wenning.
