Benton County Sheriff to Hang It Up After 33 Years

Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett

BENTON COUNTY — After 33 years in law enforcement, Benton County Sheriff Brad Bennett has decided to retire.

Bennett has served in Benton County for the past 29 years. He spent the last seven years as Sheriff.

Over his career he also worked with the Parker’s Praire and Brown’s Valley Police Departments.

In a statement released today (Tuesday), Bennett says “I am very grateful to the citizens of Benton County for their support and encouragement during my time as Sheriff.”

Bennett will officially retire in January 2015.
