ST. PAUL - The Sherburne County Attorney's Office is charging a Becker man with 23 tax-related felonies.

A news release from the Minnesota Department of Revenue says Jared Brigmon is charged with 13 counts of making retail sales after revocation of a permit.

He's also charged with five counts of failing to file income tax returns and five counts of failing to pay income taxes.

According to the complaint: in June 2013, the Department revoked the sales tax permit of Brigmon's business Forever Green Tree Care, after he failed to pay a sales tax of over $225,000. Investigators say he continued doing business under different business names.

He also allegedly failed to pay income taxes from 2010 through 2015. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.
