Barn Destroyed by Fire Near Rice

RICE - A fire destroyed a barn on Wednesday morning in Graham Township near Rice.

The fire was called in around 6:30 a.m. Rice and Foley fire departments responded to the call, the barn was completely engulfed when firefighters arrived.

According to Rice Fire Chief Scott Janski, no one was injured during the fire. There were no animals or large machinery in the barn.

No damage estimate is available, Janski says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
