#4 St. Cloud State Wrestling Takes Down University of Mary 39-6

BISMARK – The #4 ranked St. Cloud State wrestling team extended its dual match win streak to eight with a 39-6 victory over the University of Mary on Saturday.

Tanner Johnshoy opened the match for the Huskies with a forfeit victory. SCSU extended its lead with a pin from #2 ranked Andy Pokorny. #4 ranked Matt Nelson also added to the Huskies lead, making it 17-0 with a technical fall.

#5 ranked Clint Poster pinned Mary’s Brandon DeLao to give St. Cloud a 26-0 lead.

St. Cloud State is now 15-1 overall and 4-0 in the NSIC. The Huskies will return home next weekend for a match against Southwest Minnesota State and Augustana.
