14-Year-Old From Kimball Airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital After ATV Crash

MEEKER COUNTY - A 14-year-old from Kimball has serious injuries after an ATV crash in Meeker County.

The incident happened just after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday near the intersection of 675th Avenue and 365th Street in Forest Prairie Township.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says 14-year-old Sidney Schreiner of Kimball was traveling north on 675th Avenue. When the ATV came around a curve, she overcorrected and the vehicle tipped onto its side. The ATV slid on the driver's side until it stopped on the shoulder of the road.

Schreiner's arm and leg were pinned under the vehicle. She was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries.

The passenger, 14-year-old Justin Streit of Watkins was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Both were wearing seatbelts but didn't have helmets on.
