Work Set to Begin on Stearns County Road 2

COLD SPRING -- Stearns County will begin work on resurfacing County Road 2 tomorrow (Friday).

Reclamation work begins just north of Cold Spring and will continue until County Road 51 near St. Joseph. Local traffic will be able to use the roadway, but all other traffic is asked to find an alternate route.

The project will begin as crews grind off the pavement to prepare it for a new layer of pavement. The actual paving will then begin in approximately two weeks.

You're asked to avoid the construction area if possible, otherwise use caution while traveling through the work zone.
