Woman Hurt When Car Rear Ends MnDOT Truck

WAITE PARK - A Fargo woman was hurt when the car she was driving hit the back of a MnDOT truck. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 11:40 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning on Interstate 94, at Highway 23, in Stearns county.

The truck was traveling west with directional arrows on. The car was also going west. It merged to the right and struck the truck.

The driver of the car was 78-year-old Shirley Sautter of Fargo. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the MnDOT truck was 59-year-old Jerald Heinks of St. Cloud. He was not hurt.
