Woman Hurt, Ticketed After St. Cloud Crash

ST. CLOUD — A St. Joseph woman was ticketed after police say she ran a red light and crashed with another vehicle this morning.

St. Cloud Police were called to the intersection of 19th Avenue and 2nd Street North just after 9:30 a.m.

Police say 30-year-old Jennifer Lieser was heading north on 10th Avenue when she went through a red light and was hit by a car making a left turn from 10th Avenue onto 2nd Street North. The driver of that vehicle, 70-year-old John Goenner of South Haven was not hurt. Lieser was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Lieser was ticketed for failing to stop for a red light, no proof of insurance, no insurance and expired registration.
