Woman Hurt in I-94 Crash Near Melrose

MELROSE -- A Moorhead woman was hurt after she fell asleep at the wheel and crashed her car on I-94 in Stearns County.

The State Patrol says 55-year-old Wendy Fuglestad was eastbound on I-94 at about 3:30 p.m. when she fell asleep, went off the road, entered the median and struck the cable barrier.

Fuglestad was taken to Melrose Hospital with minor injuries. Her passenger, 60-year-old Paul Fuglestad was not hurt.
