Woman Hurt In Broadside Crash Near Dassel

DASSEL - One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash near Dassel. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 1:15 p.m. yesterday (Monday) at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and Minnesota Highway 15.

Thirty-six-year-old Kimberly Meece of Hutchinson was going north on Highway 15 when she went through a red light and struck the passenger side of a vehicle driven by 47-year-old Troy Buchholz of Princeton, who was going east on Highway 12.

Meece was taken to Hutchinson Hospital with minor injuries. She was also given a ticket.

Both vehicles were heavily damaged.
