ST. CLOUD -- A woman is hurt after being involved in a crash in west St. Cloud on Wednesday morning.

The St. Cloud Police Department says the incident happened shortly before 8:00 a.m. this morning at the intersection of 8th Street North and 25th Avenue North in St. Cloud.

The report says 41-year-old Kari Taylor-Evans of St. Cloud was traveling westbound on 8th Street North when she ran a red light and crashed into a truck that was attempting a left hand turn onto northbound 25th Avenue North.

Reports say the truck had a green light to attempt the turn.

Taylor-Evans was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and cited for running a red light.

The driver of the truck, 19-year-old Alexander Joseph Peterson of Paynesville, was not hurt in the crash.
