ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - St. Paul police say a "person of interest" wanted in a fatal weekend stabbing is in custody.

The person's identity and details of the arrest were not immediately released. Earlier Monday, police said they were looking for the ex-boyfriend of a woman who was fatally stabbed.

Authorities say the 38-year-old woman was arguing with the 42-year-old man in a hallway of her apartment building about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the woman was stabbed multiple times and was taken to Regions Hospital where she later died of her injuries.

The victim's name has not been released.
