Winter Returns to Central Minnesota; I-94 Shut Down Briefly

St. Cloud Police responded to numerous weather related calls for service Saturday.

From noon to 3pm the department received approximately 25 calls for vehicle crashes without injuries and 2 calls from vehicle crashes with injuries.

The department also responded to numerous reports of vehicles in ditches.

Around 1:30pm , St. Cloud Police assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with the closure of westbound I-94 at Highway 15. All traffic was diverted into the City of  St. Cloud on Highway 15 for a period of one hour, while the State Patrol was assisting on a multi-vehicle accident west of St. Cloud.
