William Krawiecki, age 81, of Oak Park, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 21, 2015 St. Louis Catholic Church, Foreston. The Rev. James Remmerswaal will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM Friday at the church. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

William “Bill” Krawiecki was born April 12, 1934 in Gilman, Minnesota to Bernard and Tracy (Jedlicki) Krawiecki. He married Jeanette Kipka on September 21, 1957 at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Minneapolis. He had lived near Oak Park for many years. In his younger years, Bill worked construction building homes and later worked for Abex Foundry building railroad equipment and parts. He also worked at Franklin Manufacturing until his retirement. Bill enjoyed both summer and winter fishing; hunting and gardening and especially enjoyed spending weekends with his many friends and family. Bill also played baseball and softball, traveled and enjoyed feeding and watching birds and also raised pigeons, dogs and cats. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, Oak Park; daughters and son; Debra Krawiecki, Oak Park; Mary Jo Karsjens (Mark Baumgartner), Oak Park; Randy (Kristy Ekholm), Sauk Rapids and brothers; Roy, Coon Rapids, Jerry, Minneapolis; Bob, Red Wing; half-brother; Pat Spiczka, Brooklyn Park; half-sister, Harriet Walcheski, Foley, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Joanne Krawiecki; son, William Jr.; grandson, Joey Karsjens; and son-in-law Ronald.
