William “Bill” G. Blonigan Jr., 44, Avon

March 8, 1970 - January 11, 2015

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30AM Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon for William “Bill” G. Blonigan Jr., 44, of Avon who passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Rev. Blane Wasnie, OSB will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 5:00-8:00PM on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church and one hour prior to services on Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be prayed at 5:15 PM Thursday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Avon.

Bill was born March 8, 1970 to William and Carolyn (Spivey) Blonigan. He graduated from Albany High School in the class of 1988. After high school, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge. Since 2007 Bill has owned and managed PJ’s Supper Club in Avon. Bill was known to be a jokester and loved to have fun. Being a caregiver for his mother and father; Bill was extremely kind hearted and generous. Bill enjoyed the outdoors, playing cards, and most of all being with family. He will be dearly missed.

Bill is survived by his father, William Blonigan of Avon; siblings, David (Debi Neumann) Blonigan of Clear Lake, Jeff Blonigan of Ridgecrest, CA, Stephanie (Michael) Andreasen of Avon, Jim Blonigan of Milaca, Lynda (Travis) Westling of Milaca; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Carolyn; brother, Steve; and nephew, Michael.
