ST. CLOUD - There's a growing trend in the downtown St. Cloud bar scene lately - bars that serve an upscale menu, and cater to an older crowd. That's expected to be the case with the latest bar to open.

The St. Cloud City council this (Monday) evening has approved the liquor license for "Whiskey Business", opening at 701 West St. Germain Street - in the former Biology 701 building.

Owner Michael Soule says he wants his bar to be welcoming for everyone.

Soule says he will have a full menu. And, live music on the weekends.

Soule says he's been working hard to remodel the space.

He says he's been in the bar business for over 20 years.

He's planning to be open Wednesday through Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.  He'll be closed on Tuesdays.

Soule says he's hoping to be ready to open for business sometime next week.
