Washington State Woman Dies in House Fire in Northern Minnesota

PARK RAPIDS (AP) — A Washington state woman has died in a house fire in northern Minnesota.

Hubbard County sheriff's authorities say the fire was reported at 1 p.m. Monday at a home near Park Rapids.

Firefighters put out the flames and discovered the remains of 82-year-old Dolores Kiedrowski of Vancouver, Washington, inside the home.

The remains were sent to the Ramsey County medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

The fire is under investigation by the Hubbard County sheriff's office and the Minnesota state fire marshal's office.
