“Walk Like MADD” Against Drunk Driving

ST. CLOUD - St. Cloud area Mothers Against Drunk Driving is getting ready for its annual "Walk Like MADD" event.

The walk was started locally by Julie Blank, whose daughter Krysta was killed by a drunk driver in 2006.

The 5K walk will take place later this summer, and tomorrow,  you can support it by attending a kick-off fundraising event. It goes from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lake George Municipal complex in St. Cloud.

The morning includes refreshments, a bake sale and a silent auction.

Donation requests are $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
