Waite Park Near Top On ‘Best Place To Start A Business in Minnesota’ List

WAITE PARK -- Waite Park is one of the top places to start a business in Minnesota according to one website. NerdWallet lists Waite Park number 18th.

The website analyzed 123 cities in Minnesota with a population of 5,000 or more, looking at business climate and local economic health.

Waite Park has 788 business with high average revenue per business at over $1.7-million. NerdWallet says the city also has one of the highest percentages of businesses with paid employees on the list at around 45 percent.

Other area cities to make the list are St. Cloud at number 76, Sartell at 98, and Sauk Rapids at 114.
