Visitation for Cold Spring Officer Tom Decker Expected to Draw Thousands [AUDIO]
COLD SPRING – Members of the Patriot Guard, each holding an American Flag, lined the sidewalk leading up to the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. The visitation for fallen officer Tom Decker began at 4:00 p.m this (Thursday) afternoon.
Law Enforcement Memorial Association spokesman Kevin Torgerson says the visitation is scheduled to last until 8:00 p.m., or as long as there are well wishers.
After the visitation, a short prosession will escort Decker’s body back to Wenner’s Funeral Home in Cold Spring, where it will continue to be guarded until tomorrow’s (Wednesday) funeral.
Torgerson talks about some of the plans for tomorrow’s funeral:
Officer Decker was shot and killed late last Thursday night. He’s been a member of the Cold Spring police department since 2006. He’s a Cold Spring native and a graduate of ROCORI high school.
