Victor F. Thelen, 85, St. Cloud

September 28, 1931 - February 1, 2017

Private family burial will take place in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls at a later date for Victor F. Thelen, 85 of St. Cloud who passed away peacefully on February 1, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Victor was born September 28, 1931 in Cold Spring to Harry and Margaret (Knaubloch) Thelen. He worked as a Nursing Assistant for the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud until his retirement at the age of 55. Victor is a life member of VFW #428 and Waite Park American Legion Post #428. He is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park. Victor enjoyed bowling, cribbage, watching the MN Twins and Vikings. He will always be remembered for his stubborn, strong, and willing character.

Victor is survived by his son, Scott of Richmond; and preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leonard, Luella Linn, LaVine Stefoya, Sr. Esther, Roman, Donald, Rodney, and Clarine.
Victor’s family would like to extend their appreciation to the St. Cloud Home Health Care Team for their care and compassion for Victor.
