Vernon J. Hiemenz, age 95, Tucson, AZ formerly of St. Cloud, MN died Saturaday, January 17, 2015 at the TLA Foster Care, Waite Park, MN.

As per Vernon’s wishes there will be no services. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Vern was born February 27, 1919 in St. Cloud, MN to Ludwig and Rosa (Weber) Hiemenz. He served for 27 years in the US Air Force retiring as a Lt. Colonel. Vern made his home in Tucson, AZ.

He is survived by his sister, Leona Schwinghammer of Belgrade, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Bobbie Hiemenz; brother, Archie Hiemenz; and sister, Elvira Mick.
