Update – State Patrol Releases Name Of Man Involved In Police Chase

WJON NewsMONTICELLO – The State Patrol has released the name of the person involved in a police chase down Interstate 94, which resulted in a crash near Monticello.

Twenty-two year old Robert Pancake of Little Falls was airlifted to North Memorial and is listed in critical condition.

The incident began near St. Cloud at about 7:30 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning.  The chase ended when Pancake’s vehicle went off the road and he was ejected from his vehicle.

The 1993 Ford Explorer he was driving was stolen from Little Falls.  The crash shutdown traffic on I-94 near Monticello for several hours.
