ST. CLOUD - The city of St. Cloud is moving ahead with a $15 million improvement project for one of it's core neighborhoods.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the general framework for the Capital Improvement Project for the Seberger Neighborhood.

Nearly two dozen residents addressed the council during the public hearing tonight (Monday), all but two were opposed to the project.  Most expressed concern over the cost, and their assessments.

Neighborhood residents would be assessed about $5 million of the $15 million project, the city would pay for the rest.

The improvements will be done in two stages over the next two years.
