UPDATE: Sex Offender Not Moving To Morrison County

PIERZ -- The Morrison County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a sex offender will not be moving to Morrison County weeks after it was announced he would.

In a story WJON reported in mid-January, Matthew Berry, a level three sex offender, announced his intentions of moving to Agram Township near Pierz.

Two weeks ago, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office held a community meeting regarding the potential move.

Sheriff Shawn Larsen announces in a report released today that Berry will not be moving to Agram Township or anywhere else in Morrison County.

Level three sex offenders are classified as being a higher risk to repeat the offense.
