Two Hurt in Crash on I-94 in Monticello

MONTICELLO-- Two people were hurt in a crash in Wright County Tuesday afternoon.

The state patrol says the crash happened on Interstate 94 shortly before 4:45 p.m.

Eighteen-year-old Sydney Burns of Monticello was driving eastbound on Interstate 94 from Fenning Avenue NE in Monticello, when she drove onto the shoulder, overcorrected, hit a concrete wall and spun into the median.

Sydney was not hurt in the crash. Her two passengers 49-year-old Patricia Burns of St. Michael and 55-year-old David Burns of St. Michael were taken to the Monticello Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
