The Minnesota Twins committed four errors and misplayed a number of other plays Sunday in an ugly 11-4 loss to the Kansas City Royals at Target Field. The Royals took two of the three games against the Twins this weekend.

Jorge Polanco made a pair of errors at third base for the Twins, as did left fielder Robbie Grossman.

Hector Santiago struggled for a third straight start for Minnesota since being acquired from the Angels at the trade deadline. Santiago allowed seven runs on nine hits in four innings of work.

The Twins play at Atlanta in the first game of a two game series on Tuesday night. Twins baseball can be heard all season long on AM 1240 WJON.
