The Twins beat the New York Yankees 6-5 in the Bronx Wednesday night.  Minnesota scored 4 runs in the first inning of Hiroki Kuroda and Jason Marquis did just enough to get the win.  Marquis in his Twins debut threw 5 innings with 4 earned runs allowed to get the win.  Justin Morneau led the offense going 3-4 with 2 homeruns, 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs.  Alexi Casilla added 3 hits and Chris Parmelee chipped in 2.  Matt Capps allowed a solo homerun to Derek Jeter in the 9th inning to get the save.

The Twins are 4-8 and will play the Yankees in New York again tonight at 6:05, pregame on WJON at 5:35.  Righthander Anthony Swarzak (0-2) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Phil Hughes (0-2) toes the rubber for the Yankees.
